It’s winter in New York which means the weather is mostly cold and dreary. Do you have dreams of lounging on a beach with your laptop? Or maybe using a coffee in an urban café in Europe to activate your creativity? Well, yesterday the New York Times published its annual 52 places to go list for 2019. If you are a person who can work remotely, it is a great guide to planning a work and play getaway. If it were our choice, we think we’d “work” from the beach in a place like Puerto Rico, Panama, Tahiti, or Zadar in Croatia. Vestlandet in Norway would get our vote for a rustic getaway, plus they had us at beer. Costalegre, Italy also looks tempting for some time on the beach, but maybe too distracting to get any work done! Salvador, Brazil, Marseille, or Munich would get our votes for an urban work/play getaway. Of course, if you do plan to work travel this year then Vezpuchi could be a great way to subsidize that cost and see the world. You could save thousands of dollars! Just sayin’.
